Middle Park Library Upgrade
Our feedback and engagement is now closed
Thank you to everyone who provided their feedback on this project. Your feedback will help to inform decision-making on this project.
We are now reviewing the feedback and will upload a report on what we heard from the community, when it is completed.
You can still use the link below to follow the project as it develops.
We plan to deliver a minor upgrade to the Middle Park Library, located at 254-256 Richardson St, to make the space more attractive, functional and engaging for our community.
We'd like to hear your feedback on the draft concept design, as well as hearing how you currently use the library, what programming you'd like to see there, and whether after-hours library access for members in future is something that interests you.
What will this upgrade include?
- Replacement of furniture, shelving and floor carpet
- Painting
- A lighting upgrade
- Installation of RFID (swipe) access (including smart returns and potential for after-hours access) and CCTV
- Other spatial and acoustic improvements.
This project is co-funded by the State Government's Living Libraries Infrastructure Program.
