Home Library Service

The Home Library Service is an outreach program that offers library collections to those in the community currently unable to attend our physical library locations (eligibility check required).

The Home Library Service is a specialised community outreach service that can select and deliver a range of library items to residents who are unable to visit the library in person.

Home Library Service membership is for people who are housebound permanently or temporarily, due to health issues that prevent them from being able to physically access a Library branch, and who do not have another person who can collect items for them.

Home Library Service members are able to borrow from the full range of reading, viewing and listening materials in the library, including large print and audio books, DVDs, CDs and magazines.
