On 17 February 2024 a fire broke out at the See Yup temple in Raglan Street, South Melbourne. News reports mentioned in passing that the temple was heritage-listed temple was built more than 150 years ago. But what does this mean and why should we care?
Join Professional Historian and Curator Dr Sophie Couchman to explore the layers of historical, spiritual and cultural heritage embodied by the temple and its contents and why it is nationally significant.
