Film Screening: The Posh and the Riff Raff

Back by popular demand, we’re hosting another screening of The Posh and the Riff Raff with a Q&A!

Thursday 14 November | 5 pm | Carlisle Street Art Space

Back by popular demand, we’re hosting another screening of The Posh and the Riff Raff, directed by renowned journalist and documentary maker Marianne Latham. This film was a highlight of the Seniors Festival and sold out quickly, so don’t miss this second chance to experience it!

Set in the late 1800s, The Posh and the Riff Raff tells the captivating story of St Kilda’s transformation. Once a playground for Australia’s wealthiest and most influential, the seaside suburb later became a haven for musicians, artists, writers, and migrants, shaping it into the cultural destination we know today.

As an extra treat, Richard Sowada, Director of the St Kilda Film Festival and founder of the Revelation Film Festival, will be interviewing Marianne Latham following the screening. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to explore St Kilda’s history and engage in a live Q&A with two industry legends.
