South Side Death Cafe
Death Cafe is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to gather over a cuppa and explore the one thing in life that affects us all. It can't be avoided, so why not embrace it, empower yourself about your options and come to peace that it's part of what makes us alive.
During these sessions we will make time and space to connect and discuss the end of life. Facilitated by funeral celebrant, Klara McMurray, expect to discuss death in small groups with no agenda, objectives or themes. Your curiosity, willingness to share (or just listen) and presence are welcome.
About the facilitator
Klara McMurray has been working as a funeral celebrant for over 10 years in Melbourne and surrounds. She is passionate about empowering the community to understand their options in the death space, inviting conversation and offering a safe, open and non-judgemental setting to do so.
Please note: this is not a grief support, counselling, or networking session.
