The Friends of Emerald Hill Library have invited back Melody Horrill, the acclaimed Australian author, award-winning journalist, and accomplished documentary producer. Melody is renowned for her documentary "A Dance with a Dolphin," which captured audiences across Australia and internationally on CNN.

Melody will delve into her latest work, Sheltered, a heartfelt tribute to rescue animals. This book highlights the transformative impact of love between people and their adopted animals, celebrating the remarkable stories of dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, rabbits, donkeys, and the people who have given them a new lease on life.

Melody will also discuss her debut children’s book, "A Cat Called Q and the Magic Globe," a captivating tale infused with themes of environmental stewardship and animal conservation.

These touching real-life stories underscore the profound connections that can be formed with rescue animals, making this an event not to be missed.
