Share Your Memories of St Kilda Library
St Kilda Library is celebrating its remarkable history in collaboration with Open House Melbourne and the University of Melbourne exhibition Taglietti: A Life in Design.

The community campaigned tirelessly for a free public library in St Kilda. Their efforts helped create a library that architect Enrico Taglietti described as a welcoming place of refuge, designed to make people "feel more alive".
We're inviting you to share your own memories. Whether you borrowed your first library book here, joined a workshop or talk, studied for exams, met friends, or simply found a quiet place to belong, we'd love to hear your story!
Selected memories may be featured in a display, included in an online exhibition, and preserved by the Port Phillip Heritage Centre as part of our community's history.
