Most of the sports clubs that operate in Port Melbourne now have their origins in the period 1860 – 1900, but they are only a fraction of the number that have existed.
From baseball, cricket, to Aussie rules football, and of course Melbourne’s very own Trugo; Port Melbourne has a rich and storied history of sports clubs and memorable athletes.
