Got a personal story you want to tell but you're afraid to write about your friends and/or family members in the process?
Learn how to navigate writing the truth about your life for essays, memoir or creative non-fiction, and gain confidence in navigating the tricky ethics of writing your truth when it involves the people who are closest to you.
Alexandra Collier is an award-winning writer who has written for theatre, screen and print. Her memoir Inconceivable: Heartbreak, Bad Dates and Finding Solo Motherhood about her journey to becoming a solo mum by choice was published by Hachette. She has been writing for three seasons on the ABC/BBC detective series Return to Paradise. Alexandra has written for a range of mediums and people, including Esther Perel, Showtime (TV network), The Guardian, The Age/Sydney Morning Herald, Harper’s Bazaar and Mamamia.
