Toni Jordan in conversation
Thursday 11 June | 6 pm to 7 pm | St Kilda Library
Join bestselling author Toni Jordan in conversation with local writer and critic Jenny Hedley to discuss her acclaimed new novel Tenderfoot.
Tenderfoot is an exhilarating and deeply moving novel about coming of age in 1970s Australia, set against the world of greyhound racing.
Set in 1970s Brisbane and inspired by Jordan’s own childhood, Tenderfoot is a poignant coming‑of‑age story about memory, resilience and growing up too soon. Hailed as “extraordinary … the makings of an Australian classic” (The Guardian), the novel offers a richly detailed portrait of an Australian childhood that will resonate across generations.
