Join Emma Pignatiello as she discusses her Blood Wine Dynasty series with Melbourne crime writer Kerryn Mayne.

Thursday 24 April
6 pm to 7:30 pm
St Kilda Library

About the Event

Join Fremantle author, Emma Pignatiello, as she talks about her two romantic suspense novels in her Blood Wine Dynasty series – Last Shot and Last Breath with Melbourne Sisters in Crime author, Kerryn Mayne.

About Emma Pignatiello

Emma Pignatiello wrote Last Shot because not enough people were being murdered in the romance books she was reading. Last Shot is full of witty banter, simmering tension and a larger-than-life family dynasty that will become your new obsession.

Emma is dedicated to making her stories authentic – she frequented many wineries in the name of research for the Blood Wine Dynasty series but has not (yet) committed any murders.

You can follow her Instagram page here to follow her career.

About Kerryn Mayne

Kerryn Mayne is an author, former wedding photographer, and current police officer. When she’s not solving crimes, she’s writing about them—or making endless snacks for her four kids.

Her debut novel, Lenny Marks Gets Away With Murder, was released in February 2023 and shortlisted for multiple awards and won the 2024 BAD Crime Sydney Award for Debut Fiction. Her second novel, Joy Moody Is Out of Time, was released in Australia in February 2024.

You can follow her humorous exploits on her Instagram.
