Rainbow Dads Playgroup: Southside
First Saturday of the month | 10 am to 1:30 pm | St Kilda Library Community Room
Looking for a consistent way to connect with other gay, bi, trans, and queer dads? Run by Rainbow Dads Victoria, the Southside Playgroup is a new monthly space designed for families to build community in the heart of St Kilda.
This is a low-pressure environment where the kids can play while the dads catch up. Whether you are a regular or visiting for the first time, you are welcome to stay for the whole session or just drop in for a quick chat.
What to Expect
Regular Connection: We meet on the first Saturday of every month so put it in your calendar!
Safe & Inclusive Space: A welcoming environment for all Rainbow Dads and their children
Drop-in Flexibility: Arrive and leave whenever suits your family's schedule between 10 am and 1:30 pm
Community Room Facilities: Plenty of space for activities, snacks, and play
Carlisle St Perks: Conveniently located near great local coffee and parks for a full Saturday out.
Rainbow Storytime
The first Rainbow Dads Playgroup coincides with a special Rainbow Storytime at the library!
Our library team will share songs and books with LGBTIQA+ themed stories centred on family, community and friendship.
Get acquainted with local rainbow dads then head over to the children's area at 11 am to join the Storytime session.
