About Liz Hicklin
Liz Hicklin is an author, poet, raconteur — and, at 95, a late-blooming comedy sensation. Proving that ageing is less about slowing down and more about stepping up, Liz launched her comedy career at 92.
A winner of the poetry slam at the Clunes Booktown Festival, Liz has also appeared on ABC Radio Melbourne and continues to delight audiences with her wit, candour and irrepressible charm.
Her influence reaches far beyond the stage. Rosie Batty and Jacinta Parsons have both cited Liz as reshaping their thinking about ageing
Liz Hicklin is living proof that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself, start a comedy career, win a poetry slam, travel the world or set new goals.
