Vinod and Anubrata's performances are a mesmerizing blend of authentic traditional Indian music.

Vinod Prasanna is a highly acclaimed and talented musician in the world of Indian classical music. With a deep-rooted connection to his family's musical heritage, Vinod's passion for the bansuri, or Indian bamboo flute, is evident in his soulful and improvisational performances. Joining Prasanna will be joined by renowned musician Anubrata Chatterjee, one of India's leading tabla players.

Vinod and Anubrata's performances are a mesmerizing blend of authentic traditional Indian music and contemporary influences. The emotive melodies and exquisite improvisations captivate audiences and transport them to a world of divine music.

Vinod Prasanna

Born into one of India’s greatest flute-playing families, award-winning bansuri (flute) virtuoso, Vinod Prasanna, shines as an outstanding performer of authentic traditional and contemporary Indian music. 

Vinod has performed and toured extensively and in 2006, Vinod won the prestigious Sahara All India Flute Recital Competition. 
 
Residing in Australia since 2008, Vinod is a performing and recording artist, teacher, craftsman and ambassador of the Bansuri. Vinod has more than 17 years of performing and teaching experience and continues a family legacy that celebrates more than two-and-a-half centuries of Indian music. 

About Anubrata Chatterjee

Anubrata Chatterjee is one of the leading tabla exponents of the current generation in India, He is the son & disciple of the world renowned tabla maestro, Anindo Chatterjee. 

Anubrata's creative approach towards his music ,traditional repertoire of Farrukhabad & Lucknow styles of tabla and a  modern touch in the presentation of his art makes him connect to the youth as well as the connoisseurs of music. 

He has been the spear head of many musical concepts like Beats & Pieces, The T20 of Classical Music. 

He is a regular collaborator of music with stalwarts like Amjad Ali Khan, Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Birju Maharaj, Ranjit Barot, Shankar Mahadevan and many more.
