Heritage Talk - Remembering the Present

Join us for a discussion with David Miller-Stinchcombe as he discusses his pavement art projects based on the works of 19th century St Kilda artist Elizabeth Parsons and the mid-20th century South Melbourne artist Maurice Carter.

In this presentation, Dave Miller-Stinchcombe will discuss his pavement art projects based on the works of 19th century St Kilda artist Elizabeth Parsons and the mid-20th century South Melbourne artist Maurice Carter; the connection of these artists to contemporary Melbourne and why an industrial mathematician from the UK ended up creating pavement art in Melbourne.

The art projects have been supported by the City of Port Phillip through the Cultural Development Fund and the Cultural Development Fund Covid recovery grant.
