About the book

Intrigue, romance and danger collide in Joan Sauers’ latest Southern Highlands mystery,

Whisky Valley, where Rose returns, and she's in over her head. After nearly being murdered last year, Rose McHugh is battling anxiety when her son’s best friend, a young renowned violinist vanishes without a trace along with his priceless violin. Against the advice of family and friends, Rose jumps back into the role she can’t resist: investigator.

As floodwaters surge, Rose delves into the mystery of the missing musician, and beneath the polished surface of elegance and artistry, she finds a tangled web of deceit, rivalry and betrayal—among performers, wealthy patrons and even Rose’s psychologist who has secrets of his own. In Whisky Valley Rose finds true love while facing the biggest challenge of her life, all within the misty valleys and dense forests of the southern highlands.
