Albert Park College Literary Festival 2023! Meet and hear from some of Australia's top authors whilst supporting a local school.


Friday 9 and Saturday 10 June

The Albert Park College Literary Festival is fast approaching!

This year the festival has an incredible lineup of Australian authors:

  • Sarah Krasnostein (The Trauma Cleaner, The Believer, and Not Waving, Drowning)
  • Laura McPhee-Browne (Cherry Beach, Little Plum)
  • Natasha Sholl (Found, Wanting)
  • Singer-Songwriter Hannah McKittrick (The Day Has Again Bruised Me)

All offer engaging and thought-provoking depictions of the beauty, melancholy, and intricacies present in our interconnected world. 

The authors’ books will be for sale on the night.

There will also be expert writing workshops for students and others interested on Saturday.

As part of the event, the Rotary Club of Albert Park will be holding a special book fair where guests can pick up bargain secondhand books.

The event begins on the Friday with champagne and hors d'oeuvres at 6 pm.

APC welcomes all community members to our college. Port Phillip Libraries is proud to help promote this wonderful literary event hosted by one of our local schools.

Tickets are $30 and $15 concession.
