The Spring School Holiday program will run from Monday 24 September - Friday 5 October. Many fun workshops and interesting performances are on offer.
Please book early to avoid missing out on some great events.

Marvellous Magic Mirrors : Workshop
Get crafty with old comics. Rip, glue and create your own magic mirror to take home. (Ages 8 - 12 Years)

Fire up your imagination these Spring Holidays and impress us with a story BEGINNING with:
“CRACK! BANG! goes lightning on a dark and stormy night……..

Terms and conditions:
- Maximum words 1000 per entry
- Please TYPE your entries and number the pages.
- On a separate page include the Title of the story, name, age, phone number AND email address.
- Entrants should be living or going to school in the City of Port Phillip.
- Entry closes Monday 15 October
- Winners notified via email or phone by Friday 26 October
- Winning entries will be announced and published on the Library’s Lightning Readers blog in the following week
Entry categories:
- 7-8 Years
- 9-10 years
- 11-13 years
Prizes:
- Book vouchers for 1st($65.00) and 2nd prize($35.00) in each age category to be won.

Entries can be submitted online (format pdf,doc,docx ) or in person at you nearest Port Phillip branch.
