Home Library Service
Want to borrow from the library but can’t visit one of our branches due to ill health, frailty or a disability? Our Home Library Service brings the library to you!
If you are a resident in the City of Port Phillip and are permanently or temporarily housebound, we can deliver library items to your door. We can visit fortnightly, 3 weekly or monthly as required. We can even do the selection for you.
Please note that whilst the usual PPLS loans and reservations entitlements apply to patrons using this service, delivery of items is done by volunteers who work to an agreed schedule and book selection is undertaken by a small and dedicated team of two staff, which may impact on the number of items able to be delivered each time.
